Fabio Concato is interrupting all his summer concerts due to cancer . The Milanese singer-songwriter himself announced it on X. "Dear Friends, I was forced to interrupt my concerts due to cancer. I am undergoing treatment with great confidence and am at peace . In the meantime, I thank everyone who has written to me expressing their concern and affection. We'll be in touch, I hug you."

Born in Milan on May 31, 1953, Fabio Concato , stage name Fabio Piccaluga, is one of the most refined singer-songwriters on the Italian scene , capable of blending elegant melodies and poetic lyrics. Raised in an artistic environment, he began in the 1970s with the cabaret-music group I mormoranti, before embarking on a solo career. National success came in the 1980s with songs that have entered the collective imagination: "Domenica bestiale" (1982), with its urban romanticism, "Fiore di maggio", dedicated to his daughter Carola, "Guido piano", a sweet tale of fatherhood, and " Rosalina ", carefree and ironic.
